Four options for different spaces. Ceiling Mounted is the most popular: bikes hang overhead, floor stays clear, fits ceilings from 2.4m. Wall Mounted is best when ceilings are too low or bikes need to sit flat against a wall. Angle Mounted is built for sloped or pitched roofs (lofts, garage rooflines). Freestanding needs no drilling, ideal for renters, commercial fit-outs, or anyone who can’t fix to the building. All four use the same patented sliding hook mechanism.

One rail, multiple hooks. Each hook slides along the rail and rotates 180°. You lift your bike’s front wheel onto a hook, the hook locks under the bike’s weight, and you can rotate the bike so handlebars tuck behind the next bike along. Need a specific bike? A standard hook is static. Bikes sit fixed in place, bars clash, and you have to take three down to get to the one at the back. SpaceRail’s hooks slide and rotate 180°, so bikes pack tighter, every bike stays accessible, and the system is patented to work this way. It’s also engineered and manufactured in Wales from 6063 T6 aluminium and rated to commercial use, not pressed sheet steel.

Yes. Road, MTB, gravel, hybrid, kids’ bikes and e-bikes all share the same rail. Tyres up to 3 inches fit straight onto the standard hook. Each hook is rated to 30kg, which covers the large majority of e-bikes and e-MTBs. Fat bike adapters are available for tyres above 3 inches.

One rail holds up to 4 bikes. Rails can be joined for collections of up to 24 bikes. Ceiling mount needs a ceiling from 2.4m and clear floor below equal to your longest bike. Wall mount needs clear wall length plus floor clearance for the longest bike to swing in and out. Specific dimensions are listed on each product page.

Every system ships with full instructions, fixings for solid timber or masonry, and a step-by-step install video. SpaceRail fixes into structural timber joists or masonry, not plasterboard alone. Most UK homes have joists at standard spacing, and a stud finder will locate them in minutes.
